Timothy Barbis, CFA

Mr. Barbis has over 15 years of experience working in capital markets, private equity, and as a business operator.

Previously Mr. Barbis was a Director at DaGrosa Capital Partners, evaluating deal flow and advising portfolio companies. From 2015 to 2022, Mr. Barbis founded and operated Darby Creek Capital, acting as an independent sponsor on private equity deals and as an advisor to private equity-owned businesses as CFO. Prior to Darby Creek Capital, Mr. Barbis was the Director of Finance for InVivoLink, a start-up healthcare firm that he helped lead to a successful exit. Mr. Barbis started his career as a Senior Associate for State Street Global Advisors and a Portfolio Accountant for State Street Corporation.

Mr. Barbis received a B.A. in Political Science and Mathematics from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and an M.B.A. from Vanderbilt University. Mr. Barbis is a CFA charterholder.
